Lights !! Camera !! Action !!

During 2020, I successfully auditioned for an acting role in a Co-Curious/Emerald Productions” feature film called “Here Out West”.

The film is a touching drama, showcasing the voices of eight emerging writers, and celebrating their communities in Western Sydney.

The film debuted and was selected as a Film Prize Finalist at the CinefestOz Festival in Western Australia in Aug-2021 and was selected as the Sydney Film Festival ‘opening night’ film. It official launched in cinemas Australia-wide in Feb-2022 and broadcast on ABC TV. In Nov-2022 it received an AACTA nomination for ‘Best Film’ alongside the eventual winner ‘Elvis’.

I received an AACTA nomination for ‘Best Actor’ (Audience Choice Award) for his role as ‘Jorge’, a divorced Chilean father who finds solace writing poetry in his native tongue of spanish.
